To practice scrying relax completely, make your mind blank, and focus your attention on the Crystal Ball. While in a relaxed state, focus on the question at hand. If you are fully relaxed and your mind is open, you will see an image in your mind or hear the answer in your head. Some psychic readers have actually reported seeing images within the crystal ball. This can also be accomplished with large stones.

3. Pendulums: Pendulums are used mostly for yes or no questions. A pendulum is any weight suspended by a chain or a string. The psychic reader will hold the pendulum over loosely over the center of a paper or cloth that has been divided into areas for yes and no. Without moving the pendulum themselves, they ask a question and the pendulum will begin to swing in one direction or another, indicating an answer.

A needle is threaded and the psychic person will hold the thread over the abdomen of the pregnant woman and ask what the baby will be. If the needle swings in a side to side, or back and forth motion, in a straight line, the baby is a boy. If the needle swings in a circle of it's own volition, the baby will be a girl.
